Crazy party mom: my 3 year old’s “girly” Elmo party

I have to start by saying my idea to give my daughter a birthday party turned into me becoming #crazypartymom.

I had no intention of stressing this much or spending this much money on her party but I should have known.  My personality is the type that when I say I am going to do a party, I DO a party. And it’s going to be good.  #lessonlearned

I definitely think children’s parties are overrated and way too expensive. Did anyone even notice the customized decorations? Probably not.  Ok so maybe a few but was that really worth it?

I know for sure everyone including my daughter had a blast.  Could she have had the same amount of fun with none of the extras?  Likely yes but it was alot of fun to put together.

We rented the gymnastics center that she goes to because the idea of having 20 kids at my house was definitely not appealing. It was great.  There was tons for the kids to do and everyone left tired.  #momsdreamparty
